Postgraduate Residency & Fellowship Training
POB Eye Hospitals is accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and is committed to developing future ophthalmologists through structured postgraduate education and supervised clinical training. Our accredited programs include FCPS Part-II in Ophthalmology, FCPS Second Fellowship in VR, FCPS Second Fellowship in Glaucoma, and MCPS in Ophthalmology. Currently, 19 postgraduate trainees are receiving advanced clinical and surgical training under the supervision of our experienced consultants, preparing them to deliver high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
Weekly clinical meetings bring trainees, peers, and mentors together to discuss complex cases, explore the latest in ophthalmology, and share research and clinical experience-keeping our team sharp, evidence-based, and always learning.

MCPS Ophthalmology Residency Program at POB Eye Hospitals provides structured clinical training to develop essential ophthalmic knowledge and practical skills. Residents are trained in outpatient department (OPD) services, patient history taking, & ocular examination.
FCPS Second Fellowship in Vitreo Retina is an advanced subspecialty training program designed to develop expertise in retinal disease management and vitreoretinal surgery.
FCPS Second Fellowship in Glaucoma provides specialized training in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of glaucoma patients. Fellows gain extensive experience in glaucoma OPD services, including comprehensive glaucoma investigations.
